Claus L. Hochgrebe Since 1990 Mr. Hochgrebe has been practicing as a lawyer, since 1999 also at the Provincial High Court and Court of Appeal (Oberlandesgericht), Frankfurt/Main After attaining his general qualification for university entrance (German Abitur) in 1977, Mr. Hochgrebe completed a bank apprenticeship, which he finished as a qualified assistant bank clerk. In 1981 after his civil service, Mr. Hochgrebe began to study law, first in Saarbrücken, then in Mainz and finally in Frankfurt. In 1986 Mr Hochgrebe finalised his first and in 1989 his second legal state examination in Frankfurt/Main resulting in the authorization to practice as a lawyer. In 1990 Mr. Hochgrebe started his own business as an independent lawyer in Frankfurt/Main. Further to his activities as a lawyer Mr. Hochgrebe worked during the years 1989 – 1993 for the Investment Bank Banque Paribas out of the Frankfurt office and from 1994 to 1997 out of the Paris office (Mergers and Acquisition), thereafter for Bankers Trust, Frankfurt (1997 – 1998; Senior Banker + Real Estate Investment Banking) and for Daiwa Securities, London (1998 – 1999, asset backed securities). After this Mr. Hochgrebe worked as Head of Mergers and Acquisition for Ph. Holzmann AG (1999 – 2001) and was in charge of selling subsidiary companies of Ph. Holzmann AG. In 2001 Mr. Hochgrebe together with a partner found Symferon GmbH (www.symferon.de), which successfully works for mid-sized companies on mandates , in Mergers and Acquisition, Internal Organisation, Sales and Strategy. Also with a partner Mr. Hochgrebe found RSG-Recruitment Service GmbH a company active in the field of personal research. Since 1997 Mr. Hochgrebe practices as a lawyer in co-operation with the chambers MerzArnoldWüpper. |
